 That depends on your situation.  Medicare eligibility starts when you turn 65 years old or are on Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) for 24 months.  You can pay in a variety of ways.  If you receive Social Security retirement benefits, your premiums will be deducted from your monthly benefit check.  Be aware that Medicare’s default billing cycle is quarterly, so we recommend using “Easy Pay” to establish monthly payments from a bank account through the Medicare.gov website.
